My Story

A youngster that has the potential to go in any direction. Smart, willing little mare that just needs more miles under saddle. Fiona is good to groom. Stands on cross-ties quietly. Easy to saddle and bridle. Good with her front feet, needs some work picking up her back feet. In the arena stands at the mounting block, sensitive to aids in the walk/trot, a push to canter, she is currently learning to balance in the canter better but does have both leads, good whoa. Fiona would do good with a rider with a steady seat and hand to guide her since she is young and still learning, she likes doing poles, and just needs to gain confidence and miles under saddle but gets better with every ride. Lunges, leads quietly, barefoot. A little nervous with fly spray and bathing. Can be stalled or turned out. Currently out in a mixed herd, middle in hierarchy. No cribbing or testing fences. Not marish. Loads and travels well. Good for the vet and farrier. No known health issues, vices or maintenance. Would be a perfect addition to any lesson program. Comes with a current coggins and our 30-day exchange policy to ensure the perfect match for both horse and rider.
