Beginner safe but educated enough for the advanced rider. English Diesel is extremely educated on the flat, light in the bridle, listens to seat and voice cues, moves off leg. Western true one hand neckrein on a loose rein, picks up lope from a stop, backs, yields to leg, huge whoa. On the ground Diesel is respectful to space, good on cross-ties for grooming, saddling and bridling. Picks up all feet, sprays, bathes and clips. Stands at the mounting block until prompted. Easy to load, hauls well. Exposed to farm machinery, trucks, dogs, goats, chickens and wildlife. Goes English, Western and trailrides. Barefoot. Good for vet and farrier. Turned out or stalled he is fine. No cribbing or testing fences. Currently turned out in a mixed herd, middle of herd dynamic. No known health issues, maintenance or vices.
